Booking Conditions and Information

 It is advisable to telephone for confirmation of  availability before sending your booking form and deposit.

 Payment:  A deposit of one third of the rental is payable on booking. Provisional bookings are held for five days.

 Balance:  The balance is payable six weeks prior to arrival. For bookings made less than six weeks in advance, the

 total  amount is payable on booking. Non payment of balance (for which you will be invoiced ) shall be deemed to

 be a cancellation of the booking.

 Cancellation:  In the event of cancellation, every effort will be made to re-let your week.  If this is possible your rental

 will be refunded, less administration charges and less any adjustments for discounts applied to last minute bookings.

 

IIt is strongly recommended that you take out cancellation insurance.

 Non-availability:  If for any reason beyond our control the cottage is not available for the time booked, (e.g. fire

 damage), any moneys paid in advance will be repaid in full. There will be no other claim against the owner.

 Hirers’ Responsibility: The Hirer is responsible for the cottage and is expected to take reasonable care of it.

 The Cottage and its contents must be left in the condition in which the Hirer found them and therefore, clean and

 tidy.  Any damage or breakages which may occur must be paid for.  Accidental damage of a minor nature will not be

 charged for.

 Owner’s Liability:  The Owner will not be liable for any accident, injury, loss or damage sustained by any guest,

 their family, visitors, animals, vehicles or personal effects however caused.

 Complaints:  Any complaint must be made to the proprietor immediately.  We cannot entertain complaints after the

 property has been vacated.

 Pet: We welcome your pet.  They must be well behaved and kept off soft furnishings and beds. 

 Pets should not be left in the cottage on their own.

 Arrival and Departure: Please arrange to arrive after 4.00 pm and vacate your cottage by 10 am. For winter bookings and

 Short Breaks arrival and departure times can be more flexible, if arranged in advance.

 Numbers:  Under no circumstances may more than the number of persons booked occupy a property, except by prior

 arrangement.

 Key Collection: Details of key collection will be sent after payment of the balance of hire charges.
